January was COLD, but there were lots of events inside to keep things warm and busy. It was Hot Tea Month, which the assisted living folks enjoyed celebrating. The 27th was Marshmallow Day, and the apartment tenants made the most of it with games, hot cocoa and s’mores. There were a variety of art classes and handiwork projects, including a number of ladies tying blankets to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive. The Kooking with Kaden class made a delicious recipe of soup, and Activity Assistant Alexa started a Neighborhood choir!
