Campus residents participated in a variety of amazing activities throughout July. They celebrated the 4th of July, enjoyed a fabulous concert by the Larry Busch Band, and got creative making their own soap and some delicious taco dip. Lots of outings were on the calendar, too, including a trip to Waunakee for an outdoor concert by the Mark Croft Band, horse-drawn tours through the Lost Canyon in Lake Delton, and an outing to Fawn Creek Winery in Wisconsin Dells. Main Street Apartment tenants celebrated National Strawberry Sundae Day, and folks in the Senior Apartments welcomed Nam Kim, Anthropology Professor at UW-Madison, for a wonderful presentation. Nam presented ‘Barbarians & Bronzes: The Origins of Ancient Vietnam.’ He’s also the son of tenants Helen and Chong Kim! What a great month it was.
