National Assisted Living Week was September 13th – 19th. This annual observance celebrates the seniors in assisted living residences and the dedicated individuals who care for them. Campus seniors participated in lots of special events throughout the week including: ponies and goats visiting from LB Equestrian Services, an outdoor concert by the Larry Busch Band, a luau lunch and hoedown picnic with musical entertainment, and delicious ice cream from the Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck. Staff was also recognized with gifts and prize drawings. The past six months have been especially challenging for all campus residents and staff due to COVID-19, and ElderSpan and Catholic Charities are so proud of our staff members and their dedication and vigilance to keep residents healthy, happy and engaged. They are the heart and soul of All Saints Neighborhood and we appreciate each of them! Thanks for all you do! To view photos from the week, please click on the web album.
