All Saints Assisted Living residents celebrated the Kentucky Derby with mint juleps and fancy hats.

The May calendar offered lots of engaging ways to stay busy! The assisted living ladies started a new knitting group with Volunteer Beth, and there were interesting presentations on brain health and managing anxiety. The entire campus celebrated the running of the Kentucky Derby with games, fancy hats and Mint Juleps. Our six nurses were honored during Nurse Appreciation Week, and there were special celebrations for Mother’s Day and Memorial Day, as well. Cinco de Mayo is always a fun event, and the assisted living and memory care residence marveled at a beautiful performance by the Madison-based Magnum Opus ballet dancers. And if that wasn’t enough, the campus bus was kept busy with trips to the UW-Madison Arboretum, a Verona Area Community Orchestra concert, the Henry Vilas Zoo, and Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ in Dodgeville and Governor Dodge State Park.
