Every day at 12:45 pm, residents in memory care embark on a lovely walk around the neighborhood block. They like to detour to the campus fountain and visit with old friends, stroll through the park, or just take the time to enjoy all of the flowers planted throughout the neighborhood. They really love being outside and getting to chat with one another while doing so. Another great recent walking activity was the Dane County Alzheimer’s Walk. All Saints once again sponsored and participated in the event held on September 23rd. We had 15 people walk and raised a total of $1655! Altogether, over $95,769 was raised. It was a fabulous day to be out in the community for a good cause “stepping forward and giving hope.” Thanks to all who volunteered, walked or donated for the event!
